Interests have centered around 2 areas of astronomy and physics:
1) Planetary Evolution, especially of the terrestrial (i.e. Earth-like) worlds, and
2) Space Technology, especially of rockets and space biospheres…
…because of the framework
they provide to understand the history of life on Earth and the future of life
in space.

Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida where America's 1st satellite Explorer I
was launched on January 31, 1958; Next door to Kennedy Space Center.
