                                 MUST  DO ORIENTATION STEPS !!

Your first assignment for this class is to complete the orientation steps during the first week of  the Fall session.  This means you need to do the following items by August 24, 2008

1) you need to review my home page and all the links.

2)  Click on the link for the Distance Education Website and spend at least 30-45 minutes reviewing the FAQ's.  Then go to the browser set up link (under 'help') and make sure your computer is set properly for successful operation of our CE 6S class program.  Now you are getting closer to logging on to our class website.  The 'how to's" on  logging on to our class was explained in the FAQ's.  You should definitely spend some time with the tutorials on the calendar, discussion/board , email and  quiz sections.  Not doing so  may result in a grade of "F".

IF you do  not become  familiar with these tutorials and do not review or practice them, there is a high probability that you will not be successful in this type of class and will feel lost and confused.  Even I had to spend much time in learning the ways and methods of  a CE 6 class program.  Once you learn CE 6, you can take many more online kinds of classes.

3) Purchase the textbook(s); see course outline for text information  and read the first two chapters and prepare to take a quiz on these first two chapters which I will make available to you the first day of the  2nd week of classes. Specific dates will be found on our class website in the calendar section.  

4) Also,  no later than August 25, 2008  post a greeting to your fellow students on the discussion board and send  a private (CE 6) email to me, your instructor and introduce yourself to me and tell me what you expect out of this class. http://online.fullcoll.edu/
