Welcome to Fullerton College and the
Department of Sociology. I have been an Associate Professor of
Sociology at Fullerton College since 2000, and have been teaching
sociology since 1994. My particular areas of interest include
gender stratification, violence against women, social inequalities,
and female infanticide. One of my primary academic and scholarly
objectives is to help students bridge the gap between theory and
practice, inside and outside the classroom. Courses offered by
