Required materials: Laboratory Manual Edited by Jo Wu. 2007-2008. Two 882 scantrons.
Supplies NOT needed: Cell phone, Turn it off BEFORE entering the room

***Classes meet for field trips at the field sites at 2:15 PM. $ 3.00 donation needed for Oak Cyn

You must read the lab exercise(s) and appropriate text material before coming to class. It is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to read and understand the appropriate textbook chapter that corresponds to the lab excercise. Five points may be deducted each time you fail to bring your lab manual and text book to class.

Lab Grade: Exams = 80%; lab book = l0%; discretion = 10% (quizzes, hand-ins, attendance, promptness, participation) Note: Missing a field trip reduces your final lab grade by 10%. For exams you will need: scantrons, & pre sharpened #2 pencils. No calculators. Normally, no make-up exams are given. Exceptions may be made for documented medical emergencies. Make-up exams will likely be detailed essays and be given during finals week. Quizzes may be announced or unannounced.

Attendance: You are responsible for all announcements (lab. changes etc.) and handouts given during class. You will be dropped if you miss two labs. If you cannot attend a particular lab for a given week, see me and I will try to get you in one of my other labs.

Lab manuals must be handed in at the end of the semester. They can be reclaimed only during the second week of the following semester.
