P.E. 248 Sport Psychology Course Description: This class looks at psychology as it relates to the field of sports. Topics covered: motivation, performance enhancing aids, youth sport, coaching, personality theory, leadership, measurement and statistics, women in sport, team and individual dynamics, reinforcement and mental training. P.E. 245 Lifesaving, Basic Rescue/CPR Course Description: This class provides Red Cross material regarding Lifeguard Training and Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation. It is designed to develop and perfect the basic swimming strokes needed to successfully execute the various lifeguarding skills, and prepare the student for life threatening emergencies (airway blockage, heart stoppage, severe bleeding).
