Graciously sharing their experiences and insight with the USOC Athlete Development department and Coaching and Sport Sciences division were 816 of 2,170 Olympians surveyed. "The Path to Excellence: A Comprehensive View of Development of U.S. Olympians Who Competed from 1984-1998" is the first in-depth study conducted by the USOC that provides information from the Olympians' perspective.
