Clipping Notebook/Book Report/A.V. Writeups Assignment

I.

For each of the 10 topics of this semester, the student is expected to cut out one newspaper article, pamphlet, magazine article, and/or internet (web) printout. The clippings should be glued or taped to a piece of binder paper.

Each clipping should relate to SOME area of Sport Psychology.

The student must write one paragraph about how this article relates to Sport Psychology just below the article.

II.

Write a three page book report on an APPROVED book relating to the field of Sport Psychology. This report should highlight the following:

• The story of what the book is about.
• What area(s) of sport psychology the book touches.
• Why you picked this book.
• Whether and how the book changed your mind about anything.

III.

Write one page each on APPROVED four video or live presentations – television, tape rentals, d.v.d.’s. These four should cover:

• The story of what the video/speech is about.
• What area(s) of sport psychology the video/speech touches.
• Why you picked this video/speech.
• Whether and how the video/speech changed your mind about anything.
