COURSE OUTLINE
Intermediate/advanced water polo for competitive
play. Includes covering drills,
strategies, techniques and rules.
1.
Expected Outcomes
The
student will be able to:
A.
Identify the rules and regulations for competitive water polo play.
B. Demonstrate increased knowledge in waterpolo
passing, shooting, dribbling, swimming, &
kicking.
C.
Develop an increase in performance skills for wet shooting, driving, &
setting the 2m. position.
D.
Analyze different strategies for counterattack offense and defense.
E.
Practice drill techniques for conditioning.
F.
Value water polo as a lifelong learning activity for physical fitness.
G.
Understand the evolution of water polo as a sport in the U.S. & in other
countries.
