Course Management

 

Dr. Robert Yamaguchi holds a doctorate in International Business. His classes are hybrid, distance-education offerings. Students communicate via email or telephone and receive feedback on assignments and tests. Students must take the midterm and final exams at Fullerton College at specific times offered for each class. Students receive study guides, project updates, and class reminders via email throughout the semester. Students must email him for the orientation materials at ryamaguchi@fullcoll.edu or call (714) 992-6007. His office is in Room 1118-01 for appointments at Fullerton College.

Four courses are offered in International Business at Fullerton College:

 

            BUS 131 Principles of International Business (3 units)

            BUS 132 Principles of Import/Export  (3 units)

            BUS 224 International Marketing (3 units)

            BUS 225 International Management (3 units)

           

For 2008 a new class will be added: BUS 226 International Law (3 units)

 

Certificate in International Business (any 3 of the 4 classes offered)

            Can usually be done in one semester, with campus and on-line classes.

 

Certificate in International Management (any 3 of the 4, and management classes)

            Can usually be done in two semesters, with campus and on-line classes.

 

A.S. International Business (any 3 of the 4, and management, and business classes)

            Can usually be done in two years; students then work in international business.

 

A.A. Int'l Management (any 3 of the 4, and management, business, and gen. ed. classes)

            Can usually be done in two years; students transfer to a 4-year college/university
