3. Textbook Requirement
Our textbook for this course is the FIRST EDITION of Visualizing Weather and Climate by Bruce Anderson and Alan Strahler of Boston University. This is a new book for our course, a decision that we did not take lightly. However, with its emphasis on today's learners, the stunning National Geographic visuals, and the availability of the e-book and Wiley Plus (see below), we felt this book offered advantages over similar books.
This textbook and/or Wiley Plus (which includes the e-book) are essential for the course. Everything we do
in this course centers around the textbook/e-book. Practice quizzes, practice exams, and visual learning tools are available in Wiley Plus and we will use them extensively. The textbook is
available through the Fullerton College bookstore, http://bookstore.fullcoll.edu, or Wiley Plus, http://www.wileyplus.com.
The cover of the book looks like this:

We will not be using Weather and Climate by Burt and Agaudo and you would be unwise to attempt this coursre without the proper textbook.
