Tenured Professor
Fullerton College,
Entrepreneurship, Business Management and Creativity
Hi, Business, Technology and Creativity fans!
My name is Gary Graves and I am a dedicated tenured professor, successful entrepreneur, passionate artist and a volunteering enthusiast. If you are here to look for inspiration then allow me to tell you, I have been in your shoes. I have always been, and I am still, an inspiration seeker, I went through many triumphs, challenges and trials but I lived to tell the tale.
As an avid learner, I mastered the fields of business management, creativity and arts. I got a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing in 1996. Then I delved even more in this field when I pursued a Master of Business Administration; with an emphasis on marketing and technology management. In fact, I’m someone who can never stop drinking from the ever-flowing stream of knowledge; that is why I opted for a Master of Arts in Modern Art History, Theory, and Criticism in 2019.
When I felt that I managed to build a solid path to success before walking it, I started pursuing every single growth opportunity I could lay my hands on. In 1996, I launched my marketing and advertising company; Graves Communications LLC. The company’s biggest aim is to assist businesses of different sizes, financial service companies, credit unions, political candidates, non-profit organizations and art-entrepreneurs in taking their brands and business sales to the next level. We provide them with effective and reliable marketing materials, websites and other communications that can help them hit it big.
Specializing in business management, I am currently a tenured and full-time professor of business management at Fullerton College. I also teach Entrepreneurial Mindset, Principle of E-Business, Small Business Management, Principles of Advertising and Creativity Matters! I believe that my teaching abilities allow me to help those willing wise souls to foster the same enthusiasm that I have for the business management, technology and creativity realms.
Apart from Graves Communications LLC, I take the pride to say that I own and operate several other businesses that have been built from scratch including CycleAnimals.com, a small online shop for cycling, and GravesGallery.com, a small glass blowing and mosaic artistry. I am blessed that all my businesses flourished significantly; why not if I put my heart, mind, soul and sweat into them!
I am always ready to put my expertise and artistic knowledge at the disposal of those who need help with a business or artistic decision. Guiding those who want a new personal perspective or longing to discover their talents to plot their path to success is my cup of tea.
When I am not working, you can find me engaged in volunteering work. I am happy that I will be participating in my 13th year of the Aids Lifecycle in June 2023. The Aids Lifecycle is an exciting 545-mile journey on a bike from San Francisco to Los Angeles (www.545miles.com). The charity ride benefits AIDS organizations and provides prevention education and services to those afflicted with AIDS/HIV. Above that, it is an experience that always helps me to breathe deeply, to see more and to show more compassion and love to everything that surrounds me.
Should we know each other? I love making new friends and business associates. You can find me on a variety of social networks. Drop me line or pop over to say Hey!
